In January 2021, Flash will be fully removed from the new Microsoft Edge.However, users may re-enable it on a site-by-site basis through December of 2020. Flash is currently disabled by default in the new Microsoft Edge.Here's what you can expect for each Microsoft browser: Microsoft will end support for Adobe Flash Player on December 31, 2020, along with Adobe and their other industry partners. The original announcement below was published September 11, 2020: The Adobe Flash Player component will be permanently removed in July 2021 via Windows Update. UPDATE April 2021: Microsoft has ended support for Adobe Flash Player and disabled it from running in any Microsoft browser.
